On  the morning of May 16th, a naming and delivery ceremony was held for  the 24000DWT crude oil tanker "Changxiangzhou" built by China  Shipbuilding Group Wuchang Shipbuilding for China Merchants Nanyou.  

This  type of ship was designed in detail by the 708th Research Institute,  with a total length of 152.8 meters, a width of 27 meters, a depth of  13.7 meters, a structural draft of 9.5 meters, and a designed speed of  12.8 knots. It is mainly used for the transportation of crude oil with a  flash point not exceeding 60 ℃. It is a type of crude oil ship suitable  for inland and near sea navigation, and is currently the largest  deadweight tonnage crude oil ship constructed by Wuchang Shipbuilding in  Central China.
